"The Positive Impact of The Foreign-Born Population on the World"
For some cities and places in the world, those buzzwords and the people who have those titles are actually beneficial and welcomed. This is seen in many cities and places including, but not limited to Worcester, Massachusetts, New York City, and Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. Within these three locales, there are negative connotations and misconceptions of the foreign-born population being connected to high crime, job stealing and lowered standards. There is an opportunity to rethink these misconceptions. Instead, consider the positive connotation of immigrants and refugees as a population of highly creative, innovative, entrepreneurial, hardworking, and economically important to their cities.
